Mission Statement of the Research Platform Medical Imaging (RPMI)
The Research Platform Medical Imaging (RPMI) at the Medical University of Vienna is dedicated to advancing multidisciplinary (bio)medical imaging science, spanning from micro-scale to human-scale applications. Our research encompasses basic, preclinical, translational, and clinical studies, with a focus on imaging technologies, methodologies, biomarkers, modeling, and data analysis.
Central to our mission is fostering a collaborative scientific community that drives innovation in imaging and deepens our understanding of biological processes. We are committed to discovering and validating cutting-edge imaging concepts, enhancing insights into physiology and disease, and developing clinically relevant diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
