RPMI Steering Board – Call for Applications
The current term of the Steering Board will conclude in October 2026.
The following members will be stepping down from the Board:
- Wolfgang Birkfellner – pre-clinical
- Georg Langs – pre-clinical
- Cécile Philippe (Speaker) – pre-clinical
The following members will remain on the Board for another term:
- Richard Haindl – pre-clinical
- Thomas Helbich (Speaker elect) – clincal
- Lena Hirtler – clinical
- Claudia Kuntner-Hannes – pre-clinical
- Severin Mairinger – pre-clinical
In line with the new Operating Principles, the Steering Board must maintain balanced representation, with 50% male and 50% female members, and ensure equal representation of pre-clinical and clinical research fields. Accordingly, two female and one male candidates will be elected into the new Steering Board.
Regular members who are interested in actively shaping the strategic direction of the RPMI and contributing to its future development are warmly invited to apply. Please submit a letter of motivation by July 1, 2026 to: rpmi@meduniwien.ac.at
The election will be held online on October 8, 2026, as part of the General Assembly.
