Long Night of Research 2026
The Research Platform Medical Imaging (RPMI) of the Medical University of Vienna is initiating and coordinating a joint presence at the Long Night of Research 2026, in collaboration with the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-Guided Therapy, the University Clinic of Radiation Oncology, and the Sono4you Ultrasound Initiative.
As a university-wide research platform, RPMI strengthens interdisciplinary and translational medical imaging. It connects research, clinical practice, and technological development with the aim of effectively translating scientific innovation into patient care and making medical research accessible to a broad public.
The joint programme is led by Irena Pashkunova-Martic and Andreas Renner and includes laboratory tours, interactive stations, and exhibitions offering insights into modern imaging technologies and image-guided therapies.
Further information on the programme, venue, and schedule will be announced at a later date.
